It's a good thing I'm not a nurse.
Today started in the most ridiculous way and I just had to tell you about it.
So last night I was up late knitting in bed and watching Will aand Grace. I know. I'm a nerd. So at three-ish I decided to pack it up and go to bed, I put my knittting on the floor and turned out the light. At six thirty I awoke to a stabbing pain in my thigh. Apparently I had forgotten one of the uber sharp tiny tiny needles in my bed and it was now jammed into my upper thigh. I pulled it out and layed there in the dark unaware of how deeply I was skewered, that is until I started to feel liquid on my thigh. I hobbled to the bathroom, and took off my pants to find a flood of blood dripping down my leg. It was at this point that I knew I had to sit down.
See, I have this lovely habit of passing out at the sight of blood. Movie and tv blood doesn't bother me, but watching that dark red oozing down my leg, I knew I better put myself on the floor before gravity did it for me. I woke up a bit later, cleaned myself up as best I could and managed to make it back to my room before passing out again.
This morning I woke up to what looks like a murder scene. There is blood everywhere. My Mum says that she thinks they might have to take my needles away from me and I think she is upset that I didn't wake her up when it happened. But seriously, I prefer to pass out alone thank you. :)
How could this day get any weirder?

Things that are new for $500, Please Alex
Life is ridiculous, and I need to keep reminding myself that that is the way that I like it.
Josh bought a new vehicle. I like it. It's a Isuzu Trooper, and it is newer and in better condition than Bill. His name is Mr. Miagi (sp?) and he is saving us money on gas which is awesome. He is also standard, which means Josh thinks that he is going to teach me how to drive standard, but he is dreaming.
Mr. Miagi is nice to have around since Josh hit 2 deer, that's right - 2, with Bill prior to being able to sell him. But, it's become a bit of a blessing in disguise. Since Bill is so old, the insurance company is writing him off, sending us a nice cheque. But, since Bill is still just fine to drive, (he just has a cracked grill) we can still sell him. Score. Bill is helping to finance the wedding!!
Speaking of weddings, we found a minister who seems cool, with the exception that he wants us to stop having sex till the wedding. We told him we would consider it. :) We also might have found a photographer, if my cousin Julie can make it from Toronto - she is awesome, and sweet! - family discount!!!!
Josh and I went ring shopping this past weekend. No purchasing, he just wanted to see what I liked. :) So exciting!!!
In my spare time, ha, when I'm not working for my dad, doing school work, at Josh's, or filling out paper work for student teaching, or the immigration lawyer, I've been working on some DIY projects - it's weird how fast the big day is coming. Josh and I are both on diets, and I'm starting to freak out a little about being able to find/fit into a dress.
The kids are good. Buzzy had a bath for the first time in I think a year, and he is smelling oh so much better. Bella has decided that she is going to sleep through the winter under the throw blanket on my bed.
I've put the flipflops in storage and broken out the closed toed shoes. Damn Michigan chilliness.
