Wedding Related:
- the visa situation worked itself out. I won't be able to work here til about 6 months after we get married, but I'm willing to sacrifice that for knowing that I can legally get married on my wedding day. For those interested in the nitty gritty, my lawyers, at my insistance, decided that I probably didn't need the fiance visa I was applying for since I am already in the country legally on a student visa. sigh.
- we recieved confirmation that we do in fact have Crouse Memorial Chapel. Very exciting! We had to wait for approval until we found a minister, and now everything is clicking along nicely.
- My Aunt agreed to playing the piano for us during the ceremony, since above mentioned chapel will not allow us to use recorded music. Hurray! So I am in the process of making some music decisions so that she can practice.
- We found a photographer that we love. It's actually 2 photographer, a husband and wife team. We are in the process of signing a contract with them.
- The diet is going well, which is good since I need to start trying on dresses very soon, and once we buy a dress, I can really only lose like one size or the alterations become major and expensive.
- Marriage counselling is going well. Some of the demands are a little ridiculous, and some things seem silly and redundant, but both Josh and I are into building the strongest base possible, and the marriage counselling is a great reminder that all this hullabaloo is not really about the wedding which lasts 8 hrs, but the marriage which will be for the rest of our lives.

Non- Wedding Related
- I'm in the process of applying for student teaching and it's a pain in the ass.
- I ordered some really hot shoes as a present to myself for reaching a weight loss goal. They are soooo sexy. Pointed toe stillettoes in pewter. I know it's probably hard for some of you to imagine me in anything but flip flops, but I've embraced the high heels full force!! Anyway the shoes arrived yesterday and they rock my world.
- I woke up to snow on the ground this morning.
- Josh and I are going to St. Louis for thanksgiving - should be interesting. He seems to be more concerned about being bored in the car on the way there, since we are hitching a ride with the Pu's. I'm more worried about actually getting there.
- I've been doing a lot of knitting. Procrastination. Yes.
- Another point on procrastination, I have a paper due tomorrow on the emasculation of Ichabod Crane, in Irving's "Sleepy Hollow" and have not started, yet I am blogging...
- I miss my girls. And I am praying that I get some student loan money so that I can make a trip to Canada.
