If you were falling, then I would catch you.
You need a light, I'd find a match.
Cuz I love the way you say good morning.
And you take me the way I am.
The Way I Am - Ingrid Michaelson
Things are crazy around here.
The parents moved. Therefore – packing, lugging, being without internet and phone.
The International department at Ferris notified me 3 weeks too late to register for regular courses that I was one course short of being eligible for my student visa thanks to new rules and regulations. Therefore – scrambling to find a course that would fit, begging the professor to let me in a month late and cramming in school work.
Engagement = wedding planning! Yay! Exciting. Also – interviewing photographers, booking churches and reception venues, thinking about dress styles, colours, decorations…
Getting married = needing a fiancĂ© visa, Therefore – immigration lawyers, money money money that I don’t have, and ridiculous piles of paperwork.
Applying to student teach. Bleh.
Josh’s 31st birthday. Lots of fighting crime (yay) also lots of cleaning, cooking and baking.
Its all really overwhelming. This is supposed to be the most exciting time of my life, but everything is so complicated. The wedding planning, which for so many is stressful, is actually relaxing compared to immigration paperwork or writing papers for school.
I feel like I don’t have a minute for myself.
